Playtime Child Care has been serving Bay Area families for more
than 30 years and is licensed by the State of California Department
of Social Services. Playtime Child Care complies with all state laws
governing the protection, safety, and treatment of children in day
care.

We strive to offer the highest quality, relationship based daycare with
a nurturing home away from home that is an ideal transition between
home and pre-school. Our family daycare serves children between
the ages of 1 month – 36 months and is licensed for 12 children at a
time. However, our group consists of 8 children at a time with two full
time providers for a 1:4 ratio to ensure the upmost and individualized
care which is uncommon in larger facilities/centers.

We have an excellent infant and toddler friendly facility providing a
safe, clean, healthy and fun environment for children to play, learn
and grow. We pride ourselves in a clean and dust free environment
because we know how important it is to maintain a germ free facility
for the children. In addition, we also strive to maintain a safe and
fire hazard free facility, therefore the Menlo Park Fire Department
routinely conducts annual unannounced visits to inspect our facility
and to ensure proper compliance. We are proud to share that we successfully pass inspections year after year.

Our spacious indoor child proof playroom is organized with age
appropriate toys and learning tools that help stimulate a child's
imagination. Our two private and spacious fenced outdoor play
areas are designed to encourage a child's spontaneous nature and
eagerness to discover. Our safe outdoor climbing area is equipped
with artificial turf, multiple climbers, and slides. Our second outdoor
play area is equipped with various other activities including, water
play, Little Tikes riding equipment, infant climbers and playhouses to
further support a child's physical development.

General business hours are Monday thru Friday, 7:30am to 6pm.
We provide flexible hours and customize each client's schedule to
accommodate their individual needs. Overtime is also provided
upon request.

Rosa Vazquez has been providing professional, quality child care
since 1982 after the birth of her two daughters. Rosa realized that
she had a rare and unique opportunity to raise her daughters at
home that many don't have today. She strives to provide the same
loving care for the hundreds of children and families that pass through
her home. Parents who have enrolled their children in her program
agree that Rosa is blessed with a special gift of passion, nurture and
compassion. However, her greatest achievement and reward is
knowing that she's helped build a strong foundation to make a
positive impact in children's lives. Even after they transition
to pre-school and long after, she is invited to be a part of their lives
as they grow older and share in their milestones. As a loving and
caring mother of two and having successfully help raise her
younger siblings, Rosa looks forward to providing outstanding
child care for many more years to come.
